Best Buy is offering free invisibleShield film to iPhone 4 owners, according to a leaked internal flyer. Engadget reports that the retailer is offering free invisibleShield side film to iPhone 4 users in order to offset potential antenna problems, and possibly to up-sell customers on a full film set or case. In addition, the offer reportedly extends to all iPhone 4 users, not just those who purchased their handset at Best Buy. Calling your local store to double-check that they are participating is recommended; neither Best Buy nor ZAGG has yet made an official announcement about the program.

I went to a local best buy last night to get mine and they didn’t even ask if I had purchased there. I only had to show that I actually had an iphone 4. *

I went to my local Best Buy and they were only going to give the case if I bought the phone there. I lied and said I did but then they looked me up in the system and I was out of luck. I’m glad I didn’t buy it there, that company sucks.
