The latest edition of Booq’s newsletter features a sneak preview of two new nappa leather iPod cases. The Venom45 ($44.95) offers protection for all 4G iPod and iPod photo models thanks to the case’s removable suede inserts that come in two thicknesses. The Venom mini ($29.95) is crafted from the same leather and is made specifically for the iPod mini.
Both cases sport openings for the Dock Connector port and Click Wheel, a suede-wrapped belt clip, and room for top-mounted accessories. “Venom45’s sleek, refined design looks sharp in any environment,” says Booq. “You will find the craftsmanship and finish of this case to be second to none.” The Venom45 and Venom mini will ship in July in black or white.

I’ve got the old 4G PodPaq, and if the quality of the Venom is anywhere near as good as the old one, I gotta have it. LIke the feature with those inserts, that let you create a fit as tight as you want. Sweet, haven’t seen that before. The only thing is the long wait…but I’m sure it’s worth it. Anyone seen a review?
