Budget iPhone leak reveals shell colors?

Alleged photos of Apple’s budget iPhone have surfaced on WeiPhone.com, with back plastic shells pictured in shades of yellow, red, and green. While it’s been widely rumored that Apple’s new low-cost iPhone will come in a variety of different colors, the poor image quality and off-looking colors make these photos less than entirely convincing. It’s possible that these are knockoffs, but also possible that they’re legitimate.

Additional photos reveal the insides of the backplates. Other rumored color options include blue, navy, gold orange, gray, and yellow-orange. [via Nowhereelse.fr]

Another key flag to their (in)authenticity is that camera hole. You couldn’t even implement a camera with the quality of the 5G touch in the physical space allowed by that shell.

I’d like to say the bright, neon like colors are a definite strike against them too but, well, I’ve seen the iOS 7 beta, those ugly crayon colors would go just “fine” with the iOS 7 aesthetics ;-)
