Burton/Apple Amp Pack Info and Photos
You may remember our recent report where we informed our readers about the soon to be released Burton/Apple Amp Pack. An anonymous reader has submitted to iLounge an Amp Pack product sheet. It’s a $200, black backpack featuring the same SoftSwitch Technology used in the Burton/Apple Amp Jacket. All we know at this time is that it should be available soon. Check with your local snowboard/skate/ski shop to see if they have more info.

$200 for that thing! Geez!
I’m sure it’s cool, but I don’t see how it can be worth $200 when you could just use the remote.

yeah it is quite expensive but then you have to remember electronic fabrics arnt really in the main everyday item and its quite a new technology, so as it gets more publicity and becomes mroe main streamed and involved in more products the price of these types of items will come down considerably

I like it, but the added remote in the shoulder strap doesn’t warrant its price, or the gimmick.
As far as gimmicky ipod backpacks go, for me, nothing beats my “g-bag” (aka kaboom bag) which has detachable speakers built into the backpack, as well as a slot pocket near the top for your ipod (or cd player), plus velcro closures to secure your remote to the shoulder strap..

I want to know if the laptop compartment in this thing is big enough for my new 17” powerbook, i’ve been looking for a nice backpack, even tho its pricey if it fits i might just splash out.
Anyone know?

why not just buy a 50$ backpack, a podsleeve from radtech and a remote and rig it all together?
