CableJive has introduced its new duaLink sync and charge splitter cable for the iPod and iPhone. The duaLink is a nine-inch cable that uses a micro-sized USB hub inside the USB connector to provide dual dock connectors for charging and/or syncing two iPods or iPhones at once, from a single USB port on a computer, auto, or home wall charger. It also features a durable black housing, heavy duty wire, and compatibility with all iPhone and iPod models except the iPod shuffle. CableJive’s duaLink sync and charge splitter cable for the iPod and iPhone is available now and sells for $26.

It’s these kind of new inventions/ideas that really keep me interested in the iPod/iPhone ecosystem. There’s only so many speakers and headphones that you can read about, but then a genuinely new and unique idea like this once comes along and it really fills a niche. $26 doesn’t seem unreasonable either as I bet Apple still charges $19 for One of their cables.

I would have to totally agree with you brianbobcat. I am so sick of hearing about all these headphones and speakers. There needs to be some products that are original. This is one of them. The next one that I wish would be a reality is a gaming pad for the ipod touch and iphone. Then apple could actually compete very well with other portable game consoles. Apple, are you listening!

Does it support iPod Shuffle 3rd generation?

4
No. It does not. Ipod shuffle does not have a dock connector at the bottom. You pay extra for that

well its funny that they show the cable plugged into the keyboard, now only if the usb port on the apple keyboard would power phones and ipod sync that would be great.

Is iTunes actually capable of syncing two devices simultaneously?

Yes, iTunes can handle two devices at a time, just think iPod/iPhone and AppleTV.
