Case-Mate debuts Venture case/stand for iPad

Case-Mate has debuted its new Venture case and stand for the Apple iPad. Made from a black polyurethane material with green piping, the Venture features a side-opening design, access to all ports and controls, and a folding front cover with snap closure that doubles as an adjustable-angle stand. Case-Mate’s Venture hybrid case/stand for the Apple iPad is available now and sells for $90.

$90 for a case? That’s al sot as expensive as a Vaja case, and Vaja has real, high quality leather….

I agree. It looks nice but I don’t see shelling out $90 for one. My Apple case for my iPad works just fine.

I ordered the case since looking for a slim and stylish case. It looks and fits great on the iPad and functions exactly as shown in the video. But after using it for a few days, I will be sending it back to case-mate. Aside from it being flimsy in structure, material of construction (??) so so, but the biggest design flaw is that the metal snap used to secure the case closed sits on the glass screen with no protection. Ru kidding me? Not worth the premium price, too bad.
