CNET 30GB iPod Review

CNET’s Eliot Van Buskirk reviews the 30GB iPod.

“First, it must be said that the new iPods are undeniably cool, with their smaller profile, feather-touch backlit buttons, and easy operation. These features will drive many people to rush out and buy an iPod, but users with lingering doubts about battery performance and Windows syncing may hesitate. Overall, the picture is rosy, but careful buyers should read this review before opening their wallets.”

Yeah!!

Way to go Apple for a great new iPod! I am glad Cnet gave the new iPod a good review. I think they are very strict in their reviews so this is awesome. I love my new 15Gb iPod, just a work of art. I am more impressed with this one than when I got my first generation 10Gb iPod.

I bought the new 30 gig iPod last Weds.  It’s great, but the battery life really is lacking.  I’ve actually ordered a second firewire cable so I can charge it and listen to it at my desk at work, and still keep it charged up at home.

Overall, it’s still one of the best toys in history. smile
