Aparently there’s a big controversy over a person selling a lavendar version of this case on eBay for $600. However, it’s really just the red case in bad lighting

So let’s see… Buy two for 39.95 each and get one free. That costs 70.90. Isn’t 70.90 the normal price for a three-pack anyway? Does contour think we can’t do math or something?

Why’d they do this this late…?
I bought one in January, and now I’m probably going to just replace this with the podfreq this month…
If I hadn’t had to fret over a constantly dirtying surface like WHITE RUBBER, I wouldn’t have had to deal with this…
Black rubber stays cleaner longer…
Don’t ask how I know…

Still too thick. Too bad they don’t make one for the 10/15/20gb. I hate the inserts.

Umm…how many people are in need of two iPod cases anyway? Unless you’re coordinating the color of your case with your clothing, which seems like way to much work. Personally, I’m fine with the regular case my iPod came with.

I took advantage of this deal - and the black Showcase is probably the best iPod case on the market, hands down. So what if it is late…the case is well worth it. Far better than anything else out there. The only quibble I have is I wish the scroll wheel could have been better protected somehow, but I am going to experiment with PDA screen protectors to see if it adds some protection while retaining the usability of the touch wheel.
In any even, the Showcase always gets attention - people are always asking me “Is that a black iPod? Cool!”
