Contour Design has introduced a new version of its Showcase for Apple’s fifth-generation iPod. Based on Contour’s original Showcase, the new hard case is slimmer, has a larger headphone port opening to accommodate oversized high-end headphones, and uses a new secure slide latch mechanism. The Showcase Video retains the shock-absorbing rubber, book-style opening, and detachable belt clip. The case comes in two sizes—for both the 30GB and 60GB video iPod—and retails for $33. The Showcase video 60 is available now and the Showcase video 30 will begin shipping late next month.

I had the black 4G version as well for my 60GB iPod. ("Had" because I recently sold the iPod and the case with it.)
It had everything I wanted in a case: thick & clear protective front and rear, rubber sides, no room for the unit to jiggle around inside, and stayed put when I left it on a slick surface (like a desk). I carried mine around in my briefcase and in my glovebox (I have an Ice>Link Plus in my BMW) and the Contour case worked perfectly for those situations.
I am holding out for the 6G iPod and when they do come out, I will wait for the Contour case to protect it before I by the iPod itself.

Watch out for these cases!!! Contour advertizes them as being protective and secure. I dropped mine less than three feet and on impact the case popped open (not the first time) and my new 5g hit the dirt and fractured the screen. I would have been better off with just a skin since it scratched so easily I was having to remove the Pod to get a clear view of the screen. I have tried to E-mail Contour but they do not reply.

Just got mine from Contour today. Had the 4G case and ordered this one the moment they announced.
I highly recommend this case.
Easy to open and remove the pod, great access to ports and controls, compliments the already great looking iPod, and most importantly offers great protection.
