Dension today announced that its ice>Link: Plus vehicle kit for iPod is now available for the Mercedes Benz fiber optic “D2B radio system. It works with popular Mercedes Benz C-, E-, S-, CL-, CLK-, SL-, SLK-, ML- and G-series models. ice>Link Plus utilizes the iPod as an auxiliary vehicle display surface because the Mercedes-Benz radio system does not support CD-Text display. ice>Link: Plus features include dual mode operation, content display on the iPod, an iPod cradle, upgradeable firmware, and a modular design. The Mercedes Benz variant supports the popular Audio 10, Audio 30 and COMAND 2.0 and 2.5 head units and starts at $399.99.
