These look great, and the price is right! I also like the fact that they give you a choice of clip-on back plate or smooth. Great job by DLO!

I purchased one of these at Best Buy a couple of days ago and ended up having to return it because if you have an Invisible Shield it will not fit. Just FYI.

Ipods do not do very well. It is a rating of about 3 out of 10. I cannot believe each song is about 2 to 3 dollars each. I am so disapointed. Even that it breaks VERY easily. Dont waste you time. I am a electrontic inventer and I am not impressed with the way it is made. It can also SLOW DOWN you computer and mess it up. Trust me I bought it.

yes i have to admit…i really really like having small digital music. But after i downloaded all 500 songs my ipod quit on me. I went to the store and they said nope its gone. So I started deleting all of the songs…even though it cost about 500 for all of those songs.(1 dollar each about) AND IT SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN AND IT WOULDNT TURN ON EVEN AFTER I CHARED IT!! my personal experiences show maybe its not what you really want.

I bought one of these tonight at Best Buy and am taking it back. When I first got it, I went out to the car to put my Nano in it but could not get the back off. I took it back inside to the store and it took three people to get it off. I figured it had just been stuck - so I kept it and put my Nano it it (bad mistake). When I got it home, I couldn’t get my Nano out of it - I had to use a screwdriver, which was very stressful, to say the least. I strongly don’t recommend this case.

BTW - some of these “reviews” are absurd. What do half of them have to do with the DLO case?

The “DLO nanoShell Crystal Clear Case with Belt Clip for iPod nano is horrible. First, the headphone hole will only accomodate Apple’s earbuds. No headphone with an elbow connector or cassette car adapter will push in far enough to make a connection. Second, when you insert the ipod and slide the plastic in over the back of the ipod to close the case, it scratches the back of the ipod!!! Third, there is no hole in the case for the dock connector. This means that you have to take the ipod out of the case every time you want to charge or sync it. This means more scratches to the back. I have no idea who designed this thing, but anyone wanting to keep their ipod at least decent looking should steer far away from this case.

bonetoe, I’m having the exact same problem. Now the back of my iPod has nasty scratches down the back, and some are as plain as a big pimple on the bridge of your nose.
I’ve been looking at other cases. In addition to all you mentioned, my case came from Best Buy out of the package SCRATCHED! It had a big swirly scratch over the part that goes over the screen. I had to trade it out because it was hard to read the screen. Turns out every Nanoshell they had was scratched, just not quite like that one. But still, I pay 5 bucks too much at Best Buy and get a case scratched out of the box?? For 23 bucks I expect far better.
BTW, this case also presses just a bit too hard on my Nano, and sometimes makes a pressed splotch on the LCD while it’s in the case.
Did I mention it’s a lint magnet?

Terrible! I couldn’t even fit my iPod nano in the case let alone have a chance to use it and the back cover does not slide off as easily as I believe it should. I wasn’t about to attempt to force my nano in the case only to end up with a lot of big scratches and a possibility of not being able to rescue the player after it was snugly placed inside the case. Too many design flaws on this case. DLO will have to rethink this one…
