Emerson Radio has announced plans to launch a complete line of iPod-compatible audio products in 2006.
“The new Emerson product line includes clock radios, portable boomboxes, home audio systems and other consumer electronic devices,” the company explains. “Each of these products will employ a custom-fit “docking station” to afford consumers the convenience of simultaneously recharging their iPods, while playing them through their new Emerson appliance for a high quality sound experience.”

I can’t wait for their incredible products to hit the market. It’s a natural fit with Apple’s design philosophy… NOT. Just another sign that iPod accessories are becoming completely commoditized. Get used to it, us Apple fans are no longer special :(

More options are always better, maybe these new products aren’t for you wired but competition in the market is a good thing and it may even bring down the prices on other manufactures products, it’s all about giving the consumer choices and how do you know that these products won’t compliment the iPod since there aren’t any photos of the products yet???

(Excuse me while my boiling blood starts chillin’)
(BTW, this is only more sarcasm for those so challenged in recognizing that evidently hard-to-see stylistic writing form while floating around the internet.)

Please…if LG Electronics (pka ol’ crappy GoldStar) can be considered a top notch company now, surely Emerson should be considered.
