ezGear intros clearCase for iPod nano

ezGear has announced a new version of its clearCase for the iPod nano. Made of clear acrylic, the hard case offers full protection and has openings for the click wheel, dock connector port and headphone jack. The clearCase for iPod nano comes in two models—clearCase nano and clearCase nano Sport. The clearCase ($25) comes with a lanyard and is available now. The clearCase nano Sport also includes an integrated secure armband. It will ship later this month for $33.

Why didn’t they put the string on the foot? If you have it around your neck, isn’t it easier to operate if the string was attached at the foot instead?

Just a wild, very wild guess…
So, this is another of those generic cases (presumably from China, like just about everything else “iPod”) spit out by the hundreds of thousands if not a million or two and sold by anyone willing to pick up some and claim them as their own.
In other words…a couple of dollars or thereabouts apiece is probably too much to pay for one of these. Ah, the wonders of cheap labor…
