Final day for iPhone early adopter credit

For those readers who purchased an iPhone before August 22 and have yet to submit your claim for the $100 Apple Store Credit offered to early iPhone owners, today (November 30) is the last day you can do so. To receive your credit, simply follow the steps listed on Apple’s website. The credit may be used at Apple Retail Stores, the Apple Online Store, or Apple telesales, but may not be used at the iTunes Store, or for the purchase of iTunes Gift Cards.

Last day to spend the credit too, or just apply for it?  I applied a long while ago and have my code, but am waiting until January to spend it on a new Mac. I *assume* it will still work then?

Actually, you can use it on itunes gift cards, just not the online ones.  You have to purchase one and have it mailed to you.  I went on the site and bought a set of headphones and a $50 card with my 2 $100 credits.  I received the card in the mail within a few days.

@Ryan -  Your assumption is correct.  Apple claims that once your request for credit is submitted, your credits do not expire.  This is stated on their FAQ page on the offer page on their site:

I think you and I can breathe a little easier, since I have two credits to redeem.
