First iPhone accessory videos posted, more coming (updated)

In order to help readers learn about the ins and outs of iPhone accessories, iLounge has just released a series of videos spotlighting iPhone accessories, ranging from cases to cables, speakers, earphones, and more. Five videos are already online and ready for you to watch; expect more in the near future. Though most of the products shown aren’t exciting, the videos do provide information on what you can expect from the first wave of accessories in terms of compatibility and features, and several especially interesting products are featured. Posted on YouTube, the videos are viewable on your iPhone, Apple TV, and/or computer.

The Case-Mate case looks like the best option to date.  Great job on the video reviews.

I think the “front protection” is overrated and probably a reaction from iPod users/reviewers accustomed to fairly poor plastic quality.  PCWorld tried to scratch the screen and failed miserably, even when trying to gouge it with a key.  Is anyone putting their iPhone in a pocket with their keys and other items?  I know I’m not.

We’ve already seen damaged iPhones. Protection is crucial.

Have you had a chance to test the Belkin Auto Kit car charger with the iPhone?  I briefly used it with mine earlier today and it seemed to work just fine, but I don’t want to risk damaging my iPhone though either now after seeing the video.  I’d like to know if it’s safe or not.

How good is the case mate iphone case?  It looks good, but I’d love to see a review of it before I purchase it.  Thanks!
