What’s going on in the third screenshot? (Second row, on the right). It looks like some weird desktop configuration. Glitch or unannounced feature?

I wish there was a way to download this beta and install it like the early link to 2.0 when it came out.

I’m very excited about bluetooth support especially I occasionally use it for cordless headphones during cycling! and I just got a 16 gb touch so v. happy BUT one huge problem - is that another nested menu for Bluetooth!! Aargh sooo many taps hope to another update adds quick buttons for wifi, Bluetooth an brightness. Especially brightness.

I’m curious if the Autofill function will have any security measures. Specifically, the Names & Passwords part. Perhaps password protection before auto-filling at sites you deem sensitive (banking etc.).

What about the number of installable apps? Still only 9 pages or even less (because of spotlight)?

Title bar now changes to red while recording voice memos (presumably you can record while running other applications?). Title bar also changes to green while on a call - what happens when you voice record while on a call? If there are 2 additional lines at the top (for the call and for the recording), will the home screen icons still fit on the screen? How do we decide to jump back to either the recording or the call function? Have you got pictures for that? Thanks!

@9: in one of Gizmodo’s (or Engadget’s) screenshots from yesterday’s presentation I counted 9 pages of apps + spotlight (10 total). So I think it’s still only 9 pages, but spotlight doesn’t count as 1 of them.

Peterd, according to yesterday’s Apple’s keynote, iPhone OS 3.0 will not be publicly released until sometime this summer.

Will new bluetooth options allow an external keyboard, such as a Stowaway?

@ #10 (Appenino): I’m pretty sure title bar already goes green during a call with 2.x firmware…

Wow. This OS looks like a major upgrade that should appeal to MOST users. I really like the copy and paste implementation but I really do hope that they (the Dev Team) are able to jailbreak this OS, NOT for the ability to run pirated software (which I honestly couldn’t care less about) but for the ability to customize the appearance of the home screen.
I really like wallpapers.

@ #10
You probably cannot record and use the phone at the same time just like you cannot play music and use the phone at the same time or play ipod music and another app that has sounds at the same time.
Anyone figured out what that square in the lower left corner of the camera screenshot is?
