Ok, I’ve been searching since October for a case for my 60gig 5th gen.  All I want is a simple black slip case with belt clip.  Like the black one that came with the 3rd-gen iPods.

1) open top (so you can slide ipod out)
2) black, simple, no decoration
3) belt clip

That is all.  Why can I not find this simple style of case?  Does anybody know of something out there?  Thanks in advance!

Wow, a leather iPod case for less than $99?  That’s mind-boggling!

To-m.sherman:
The case you are looking for was/is sold by Xtrememac for the 3G/4G ipods. I’ve owned this case for the past three years and it is perfect: Covers the entire ipod when closed, has a unique leather covered spring system that holds the ipod in the case, but allows easy removal and comes with a super strong swivel belt clip. It’s called the “Leather Case”, BUT they have not made it for the 5G. I’ve written to them three times asking them to adapt this case for the 5G, but still no luck. Maybe you can email them too.
