Forums: iTunes 4.9, iPod reshuffle, 5G’s unwanted, Audiophile?
This week in the iLounge Discussion Forums: now that Apple has upgraded iTunes to 4.9, share your thoughts and experiences with other readers in the iTunes for Mac Forum and iTunes For Windows Forum.
With the news that the iPod lineup has been streamlined, there are many opinions on the wisdom and benefits of this move. You can register your feelings here.
While everyone is stating what they would like to see on the next generation iPod, one reader has asked a good question: “What Would You NOT Like To See on the 5G iPod?” Want Apple to keep the iPod ‘simple’? Speak up!
What is an audiophile? In this post one reader asks this very question, and will hopefully have his answer!

What I would NOT like to see on the 5 G, is for Apple to REMOVE usefull features.
The latest firmware release from Apple DISABLES the ability of Smart Playlists to do Live Updating on the Ipod without re-syncing to Itunes.
You used to be able to build a Smart Playlist using Play Date or Play Count that would allow the playlist to remove songs from it once you played them, so you didn’t hear repeats.
Why is Apple taking away valuable features from us??

I agree from Fred, this is absolutely HORRIBLE news - the #1 best feature of the ipod is the Smart Playlist updating, and having to connect to your computer every time for it to update is simply ridiculous. Something needs to be done about this!! Every leave bad feedback about this here:
