In the forums, iLounger ‘divine’ announced with a link to several photos that he received his new 3G iTrip on September 12. “Not sure why I got it so early. Like I said in the comments, my friend just ordered 2 from Griffin and they shipped it overnight.” He also posted a link to his UPS tracking information to prove to our readers that he did in fact receive it on Sept. 12.

Here is a 3G iTrip that sold on ebay almost 2 weeks ago:

It seems like the maker has had them ready for awhile, but just not enough to say it has been ‘released’

Son of a #####! I think everyone ought to threaten to cancel their iTrip order to get an overnight shipping. Then maybe Griffin will treat the people who pre-order early with more respect. I know that I will be emailing them to tell them that they either ship mine next week, or cancel my order. This is just rediculous. I’ve never had such a bad experience.
This thing better be the best damn thing ever. I tried the Belkin. It sucked. It lost it’s ability to tune to the 4 frequencies it had, and eventually drifted to just one out of the range of the original ones. If the iTrip is not a work of art, I’m returning it for full refund.
Bastards!

It never worked properly or at all in my Mini! Sent them a email and no response! At least the Belkin, ugly as it is sort of worked.
I suggest not buying.
