You say the aluminum case is for the 3G/4G, not finding the information for the 3G case…

The 3G/4G aluminum case is the one without the cutouts. It is here:

how can this case be for all 4G ipods as well as the ipod photo?
aren’t all the 4g ipods different sizes? Isn’t my 20G ipod much thinner than the ipod photo and won’t it not fit as well in this case??

It fits every 4G ipod because they are all the same height and width… thickness on the other hand…
I’m looking at my case right now… its THICK…
Starting to regret….

I guess this was better designed for the ipod photo than the 20G it seems. Looks nice nonetheless =(

i got this case today. it is one of the worst cases i have ever seen/owned. flimsy, huge, sloppily made. the only good part of it is the aluminum color that kind of fits my g5 and cinema screen and my pb. still, i will never use it. wased $15. for the record, i find the new version of xtremity case from macxtreme the best of the lot out there (or their leather case for the leather-lovers)

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. I got the case yesterday and it is not a thing of beauty or strength. The scroll wheel hole is off by almost 1/4” and it kinda reminds me of an Altoid can with hinges. Don’t buy it. It will make do until a real case comes along. btw, it does have good padding and the iPod photo doesn’t rattle around in it.
