Griffin Technology has introduced its new Component Video Cable and Composite Video Cable for iPod. Both cables connect to the iPod via a Dock Connector plug, and feature a high-quality shielded copper core, as well as an integrated USB plug for use with the included PowerBlock AC wall charger to supply the device with power. In addition, both cables offer color-coded RCA connectors with molded-in strain relief. Griffin Technology’s Component Video Cables and Composite Video Cables for iPod are compatible with the first- and second-generation iPod touch, iPod classic, and third- and fourth-generation iPod nano, and are available now for $50 each.

i have been wanting to connect my iPods to my pimp phlat screen and at keg parties at my house to show off video from a touch or ipod nano to the ladies and my homies and at the same time show off my big plasma televisions, and or 22 inch Computer monitor and home entertainment systemsin the back of my limo thats how we roll. this has a six-foot cable attaches to the 30-pin dock connector, while a second USB cord and A/C adapter which lets me roll and charged and jamm my tunes play my videos .how great is that give me two. a must have cable if your going to push the limits like we do with your apple ipod i want to hook up and this cable brought it all together.
The composite cable provides male RCA plugs for analog stereo audio and single connection for video. The component version offers three (RGB) RCA plugs, in addition to the stereo audio connections.
