Griffin Technology has introduced its new GuitarConnect Pro accessory for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. GuitarConnect Pro connects to the device using the Dock Connector port, and adds a standard 1/4 inch instrument jack, with a built-in gain control, to the device. It is compatible with any instrument that has a 1/4 jack, and with most Core Audio apps, including Apple’s own GarageBand. Users can monitor the audio by connecting a pair of headphones or speakers to the device’s built-in headphone jack. Griffin’s GuitarConnect Pro accessory for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch is available now and sells for $80.

Are you sure it supports the iPod touch? Their web site only lists both iPads and the iPhone 4/4S.

I recently did a song/video on my iPhone using the Griffin GuitarConnect Pro and I love it.
The song is called ‘Straight Down The Middle’ by Tom Limbaugh
All of the audio and video was recorded on my IPhone 4s. Griffin has included it in their Blog dated 01/25/12. I’m assuming you don’t allow links in this submission form but you can find it by ‘googling’:
‘hear the GuitarConnect Pro in action’
or type:
‘Tom Limbaugh’ in The Griffin Blog search box.
Thanks!
Tom
