Cost of iTrip 2 $31.99 american
Cost of shipping to Halifax Nova Scotia : $41.29 american
Trying to understand retailers who have insane shipping costs to cross the border? : priceless
And nooo…I did not buy it

I ordered mine from Apple Oct 21, a month before they were supposed to ship (officially Nov. 21) & received it on Nov. 4th. Even though the manual says the led is blue & mine shines red (my favorite color anyway), I love it.—A perfect pair w/ the car charger. After a little “corrective surgery” on my iSkin to accomodate the iTrip, all is well. Finally—all my tunes in the car at one time!

I got one of these a week ago. The instructions say find a station with a “clean hiss”. To my dismay, there are no stations in san francisco that arent taken up. So basically, dont buy this thing if you live in a city, because its pretty much useless. Ipod lounge’s review made me waste 40 dollars, good job.

As per normal it costs more to ship to the europe than the itrip itself :( ... is there anywhere we can pick one up without being ripped off on the shipping?

Regis,
Like yourself, I live in a large metropolitan area (Dallas-Fort Worth) The radio frequencies here also very cluttered but if you can find one that the signal is pretty faint, or one with very little bleedover from an adjoining frequency, the iTrip works just fine.—The default, 87.9, works best for me.

I have one-received as a gift but it requires MusicMatch to install the software and I use iTunes exclusively.
