I guess I can understand the flashlight…sorta. But a laser pointer? Why do I need one that attaches to the iPod when you can buy them self-standing that are 1/2 the size of the attachment?

“The snap-on flashlight is great for finding keys in the dark.”

Assuming you can find the flashlight in the dark ;-)

I’ve never seen one half that size, but they probably exist. So I suppose we may as well ask why anyone bothers to sell ANY laser pointers bigger than that. And yet you can buy laser pointers in many shapes. Strange but true.

The obvious reasons, though:

1. It’s plenty small enough already.

2. It needs no battery.

3. It comes with a flashlight :)

doesnt the ipod back light screen create enough light to find a missing key. also it attaches to audio jack so you cant point your laser point while you listen to music. in my opinion it seems pretty useless.

Talk about slow days…

Must’ve been a REALLY s-l-o-w one at Griffin’s product development lab to come up with these two ‘accessories’.  Wonder how much of a Christmas bonus the ‘inventor’ will have to PAY OUT to the rest of the company for bringing these two out to market.
