Griffin Technology has introduced its WindowSeat automobile mount for the iPhone and iPod touch. WindowSeat mounts on a car’s windshield, using a powerful suction cup, or on a dashboard using a self-adhesive pad. A secure, adjustable mounting bracket with a swiveling ball-and-socket joint holds the device at any desired angle, while a corner-release allows for quick removal of the iPhone or iPod touch for the mount. Also included are an offset adapter for mounting on severely angled surfaces and an auxiliary cable for connecting to car stereos equipped with an auxiliary input. The Griffin WindowSeat auto mount for iPhone and iPod touch is available now and sells for $30.

Note that in some US states (e.g. California) it is against the law to have anything attached to your windshield ... beware!
