H2O Audio has introduced its new Amphibx Grip case for the fourth-generation iPod shuffle and sixth-generation iPod nano. The Amphibx Grip is a fully waterproof, sweatproof, and sandproof armband-style case, featuring a “ClearTouch Window” that allows for full use of the nano’s touchscreen or shuffle’s front controls while in the case, a locking closure, a pass-through headphone jack compatible with both the company’s waterproof and standard headphones, and an adjustable strap to fit most arms. H2O Audio’s Amphibx Grip waterproof armband for the fourth-generation iPod shuffle and sixth-generation iPod nano is available now and sells for $60.

If this doesn’t let you press the Sleep/Wake button on the nano it will be useless because the screen goes off after 60 seconds and the only way to get it back is to press that button. Also the volume buttons are the only way to adjust volume unless you use headphones with remote.

The sleep/wake and volume buttons are fully functional through the armband window. Because the Clear Touch window is made of flexible plastic, and the new nano is so thin, you’re able to get your finger over the top of the nano and use the buttons with very little effort.
