My 14 year old daughter will be surprised to be getting a pink nano. I’ve been steering all the clues in another direction. My husband is getting an iLive speaker/radio set-up that will accomodate his mini from me; plus headphones from our son. I think they’ll both be pretty happy.

My daughter had an “All Mac” Christmas. She got a Wireless Mighty Mouse for her MacBook, the Encyclopedia Britannica Ultimate DVD and an external hard drive. I even gave her a photo book I made in iPhoto.

Merry Christmas iLounge and thanks for a great year. You guys really do have the best reviews, as well as Ars Technica. You and Ars Tech are the only sites I go to for electronic reviews. This Christmas I’m getting a 30G 5.5 iPod. I know it’ll be replaced in a hot second, but hopefuly Apple will still keep it in the line-up unlike the 1G Nano. Besides, the new one will probably cost a lot more if it’s specs are near what people are speculating. I have a Nano, but it’s full. Anyway, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc.

Merry Christmas to those who do, and Happy Holidays for all others.
Since I’m concentrating on my Nikon dSLR gear this season, I’m not really expecting anything ‘iPod’ this Christmas from myself or from otheres—my 80GB 5.5G is certainly good enough for now—but if Santa wants to deposit a new iPod-friendly car (say, like a Mark Levinsoned, hybrid Lexus LS600h in the driveway), who am I to say no thanks?

Received a new Shuffle from my partner for Xmas. I already have a 5G iPod, but this little thing wins the WOW factor hands down. And it drives my full-size Audio Technica ATH-900LTD headphones with no problem whatsoever.
And thanks, iLounge for a great site and another terrific year!
