Uh, yes, partly, though the images are constantly changed out when we receive better ones. That said, manufacturers pics can be very useful when searching for new gear as they are usually very clear and detailed. The purpose of many of those galleries is to gather all the pics in one place, a kind of reference library if you like.
Actually, though, if you look at the “headphone amps gallery”, many of those pics are user taken. We also have links to several member’s sites who have massive galleries of home-made pics, so you can find whichever you want if you just take a little time to look.
Anyways, I hope you find them of use. Many folks do, myself included..and membership is free…

Is this a beta site? It seems pretty JV, bandwagon approach to me. Lazy execution and sloppy design decision making, and way too fluffy.
Great idea though, kind of like, ipodlounge without the
brains, fun and design.

I think that is a site for people interested in PADs and audio as opposed to web-design. I’m sure they’re enjoying themselves, you should try it some time...

I don’t know anything about web design, but I do know audio components, and I like the site. For me it’s more like a jumping-off point to researching new products I’d like to try out. If nothing else, it’s a way for people to become aware of products they never knew existed, simply because they never show up on ipodlounge.

Hey - the site is looking great! Sorry about being so harsh in my initial post - i must have been having a crappy day.
Can you guys recommend a nice, self powered set of speakers I could use for some of my iPod Art Speakers.

Thanks and keep up the good work on the site!
Peace,
