HoMedics is offering the iSoundSpa ($80), a “Made for iPod” alarm clock that lets you wake up to your iPod, radio, beep tone, or nature sounds (ocean, rain, night, waterfall, brook, and sunrise). The iSoundSpa has a docking station which charges a docked iPod while in use and makes use of inserts to fit most iPod sizes. Time can be viewed either on the large digital LCD display or projected onto your ceiling via a blue light.

I’m sure its probably intentional but “HoMedics” is an unfortunate name when that capitalization is used.
The light projection for time is a nice feature that’s standard in most clocks but I haven’t seen it in an iPod one yet.

i don’t see why all these clock makers use blue for the primary color. i would much rather see red.

Haha. “ho"Medics. Clock makers use blue as their backlight because blue is a calming color, as opposed to red, which is shown to increase fear. Haven’t you ever seen those movies where they put the victim in a room with red light? Yeah, the red has the potential to make people mental after prolonged exposure.
