DLO has introduced its new HomeDock Deluxe, the first iPod docking system to allow users to navigate their songs, artists and playlists on their TV screens. The new ‘Dock comes complete with an AC adapter that also charges the iPod while docked, a six-foot AV cable for connecting HomeDock to a TV, and an 18-button IR remote. HomeDock Deluxe displays song info and time at the top of the screen, while allowing access to more navigation at the bottom. It also displays videos and slideshows from capable iPods, and can display a built-in screensaver to prevent burn-in should the screen sit idle for too long. The DLO HomeDock Deluxe will be available in March, is compatible will all dock connector iPods, and will sell for $149.99.

I really like the wireless feature on the griffen now that I look at it. I’m gonna still wait till the summer when these will both be reviewed by then

I just noticed also that on the Griffen, I don’t believe my Ipod will fit in the tune center without having to take my case off which I don’t wanna do. I honestly think the DLO looks nicer but that wireless feature on the Griffen is sweet.

Does anyone know if the Griffin Tune Center has a screen saver? It is not mentioned on their site. The DLO Homedock Deluxe has a screen saver to prevent burn-in.

Anthony/Robert,
I concur, the requirement for me to remove my iPod5G from it’s rubber skin to dock to Griffin will make me choose the Home Dock Deluxe over Griffin’s product.
Not to mention that I don’t see where the Griffin charges your iPod while in use (not mentioned) NOR does it appear to have a USB connector for syncing (I place my iPod on Home Dock regular in my study hooked to the stereo and computer).
Home Dock reg and deluxe do both.
