I am also surprised by the common mispelling of ‘iPod’ and ‘iTunes’.... even in the iPodlounge forums! It aint all that hard to remember the correct caps ffs

The same happened years ago with Macintosh. People insisted on calling it the MAC, rather than a Mac. Like it was an acronym or something. And they usually added a (tm) after it. You’d think if they were using a trademark, they might check the spelling and case. Remember, the devil is in the details.

iPOD, IPod, i-Pod

Literature is about getting across an idea, thought, or a message. If you can identify what an iPod is regardless of how it’s been written, i believe it is a legitiment form.

i just call it Micro Soft in any responce to some lozer that calls it a MAC, or an Ipod.

i prefer “eye-pott”. the double t tells you there is something special about it. eye because it looks so good.

When it comes to things like these, I usually roll my eyes at the person saying it. Typically it is the common arguement over it being “Mac” not “MAC”. Techies will understand that a newbie is talking about a computer, and not the other term. Yet, people still whine about it.
