Huge iPod shuffle ad in Australia
iLounger Ed Mouy has provided us with photos of an extremely large Apple billboard for the iPod shuffle in Australia. The advertisement is on the Nike store in Melbourne (corner of Bourke and Swanston Street) and is approximately six stories tall. “It’s a really good spot, it’s basically the central retail district of Melbourne,” Mr. Mouy told iLounge. “Apple has used the giant billboard a few times for iMac ads and such.”

I really just think apple is getting way too arrogant, if supply is already outstripped, then why stick extra advertising costs on the consumer?

I saw this a few days ago when I was in the city, it’s been there for a while. It looks pretty cool.
They used to have a Lamp iMac ad there a long time ago too.
I was in San Francisco a few days after the release of the Shuffle, and on every street poll they had the Shuffle ad.
These same ads have been added to the Tram Stops in Melbourne too throughout Melbourne.
“Australia looks like they have nice transit. at least MPLS lrt is safer.”
lmao. No, not really.
We have a few of those new trams, but don’t let that confuse you.
Just some details.
