IK Multimedia has announced an updated version of its iKlip universal mic stand mounting kit that is compatible with the iPad 2. Designed and manufactured in Italy, the iKlip is made from a hard thermoplastic and features sure-grip touch points for a secure hold and scratch protection, a universal stand clip that attaches to most microphone stands, multi-angle adjustment for optimal positioning in both horizontal and vertical orientations, and access to all ports, controls, and cameras. In addition, the company will be offering new iPad 2 snap-in adapters for existing iKlip users. IK Multimedia’s iKlip universal mic stand mounting kit for the iPad 2 will be available in June for $40.
