But…I can’t use the link. I only use gmail…on the web.

Mandy, if you have your gmail account set up on your iPhone the link works just fine. Try it on your iPhone instead of your computer. And if you do not have an iPhone it is easy enough to enable POP3 for your gmail account and set up an email client.
