I’ve been lurking in the ipodlounge IRC channel since the Windows iTunes event… it’ll be nice to see some life in the channel again.

I’m hoping that a mini iPod isn’t announced, since I just got a 20 gigger =/

Shut up yong pin, mini ipod better come up, u just suck to buy a unreplacable ipod

Posted by mini ipod on January 6, 2004 at 1:34 AM (PDT)

Why are loads of people so bothered about apple releasing a mini ipod?! We/You bought the “proper” ipods cause of their huge hard drives, so if apple bring out one with 10x smaller capacity who cares?

I just hope they announce a price cut…. i’m holding out buying the 20GB version just incase.

Posted by hhvuong on January 6, 2004 at 4:15 AM (PDT)

how long do keynotes go on?  i’m watching during my lunch break…

Posted by jay on January 6, 2004 at 5:39 AM (PDT)

hhvuong - im not sure what you mean.

Yes i can understand some people would like to see an apple branded music player for the masses, but i cant understand how someone who spent 400 pounds (like i did) on their ipod being frustrated at apple releasing a dramatically cheaper AND dramatically lower specced model.

Its like someone with a Ti Powerbook getting upset cause apple released the new ibook @ 500mz ...

just me i guess…
