iLounge is pleased to announce the launch of our new iLounge + Mac section. This all-new area of the site is focused solely on the coolest new Mac products - computers, accessories, apps, and related gear that our editors are excited about and wanted to share with readers.
iLounge + Mac is an expansion of the light Mac coverage we’ve previously provided in our editors’ blog Backstage, heavier on cool new products than before. So whether you’re looking for Apple-friendly furniture, speakers, camera accessories, peripherals, decor, or other neat stuff, iLounge + Mac will provide you with daily updates on the latest and greatest releases. Check it out today!

Cool, more tech news and reviews from iLounge! A couple comments:
- When this news item fades into oblivion, will the link to this new category from the main iLounge page remain under the alternating news highlights on the main page? I would hope to have a simple and obvious way to jump to the new site.
- Likewise, once on the “iLounge + Mac” page, the link back to the “regular” iLounge page is not very obvious (you have to click the “iPod|iPhone|iPad” link on the orange bar. Perhaps a more obvious “iLounge” button would be better?
- The look of the new page is quite different from iLounge, is that a sign of things to come for the regular iLounge page, or is it meant to remain with a different look?

We will definitely be improving the back and forth links between the sections of the site. In terms of editorial and identity, we consider iLounge + Mac to be an island, but one with some visual clues as to the way we might evolve other parts of the site in the future.

Long over-due. Finally a place to that reviews everything that’s “apple”. Thanks for doing this!
