iLuv has introduced a new set of headphones and a new pair of ear clips that use Bluetooth wireless technology. The iPod-compatible headsets allow you to listen to your music wirelessly and can also be used with Bluetooth-enabled cell phones. The iLuv i903 Noise-Canceling Headphones ($100) feature a swivel, over the head design and noise canceling technology. They also include a Bluetooth audio transmitter, soft-cushioned ear pads, and a mini-USB connection. The iLuv i202 Stereo Ear Clips ($90) feature a folding, swivel design and clip directly to the ear. The ear clips have integrated remote control functions (Play/Pause/Skip/Volume Controls) and come with a dongle-style Bluetooth audio adapter.

At least they don’t look like a bad pair of earings like the Etyomics…

* The integrated remote control feature is only supported when the connected devices support the remote control feature through Bluetooth wireless technology.
?!above copied from web site…..
Does that mean it’s pretty much USELESS?! I’d be waiting for a review from somewhere….. Wireless ROCKS!!

Copied from the site: ?Audio devices without Bluetooth wireless technology can connect to i202 using the included wireless audio transmitter”
To DJ, yes this will work with an iPod.

DJ and Dudue62052, whether it will work depends on whether the dongle style attachment connects to the dock connector or the headphone port. If it is the former (which i suspect) then yes, it will work.

Actually I suspect it uses the headphone jack, not the dock connector. The iLuv website says “the dongle lets you convert almost any audio device into a wireless device”.
If it uses the headphone jack, no AVRCP.

iLuv’s website has updated the pages to include photos of the accessories. It IS a dongle through the headphone jack. However, it does say that it uses AVRCP…

Wow, Recently got one of those Motorola V3i phones with bluetooth & iTunes MP3 player built in. The instructions read that the music can’t be listened to through bluetooth, what a disappointment. Also, the built in player doesn’t appear to have tone adjustments, or built in equalizer, anaother disappointment, seems like most bass is missing. But these iLuv phones might be the answer, at least the wireless one. Anyone have one of these phones? Would like to improve the sound on the built-in iTunes/iPod….if possible. Thanks

Anyone else notice that iLuv’s website has a price increase on the ear clips? From $89.95 to $109.95! Hmmm…

Should the pricing be updated? I just checked out their site and both items are $20 more expensive than in the news brief. In addition, 4-6 weeks for shipping?!?! Why not just say ‘preorder’?

I wanna know if it’s possible to use this bluetooth headphones with the motorola v3i, that has the itunes software for music.
I’m very upset with the fact that the v3i can’t work with the motorola bluetooth headphoes ht820.
So if this iluv work with it, they are the solution.

these things are starting to seem like vapor-ware. they’ve been on “pre-order” (unavailable, out of stock) for a month past their intended release, with no word on when it’s to come out. anybody hear anything new?

Great investment, while deployed, I purchased the ear clips for the Mrs. and the Stereo Backphones with DSP for me and the set up is out of this world. I use it with my iPod and laptop with real good results without the hassle of wires getting caught on everything seen and unseen. It’s even less of a hassle when I SKYPE with my loved ones back in the states. You won’t feel tied down to your computer with the worry about yanking your head off cause you forgot how short your wire was.
