iMessage, iCloud services down for some users

Apple’s system status page is reporting problems with several iOS and iCloud services since approximately 12:30 AM EDT. The site notes that some users may be unable to use iCloud Documents, Photo Stream, iPhoto Journals, Backup & Restore, or send or download attachments in iMessage. While the status update notes that less than 1% of users are affected by the service outage, with over 250 million iCloud users, this potentially represents over 2 million people.

Wow. So many outages. iCloud is nice and all, but I find Dropbox to be a lot more reliable, because, even if the webservice is down, I still have access to ALL my documents.

Has to be one of the most unreliable email services I have ever used. I thought that MobileMebbe was bad but this is taking the mickey.
Thankfully I am not paying for it like I was with .mac/MobileMebbe.
I have other webmail accounts that manage to work without the problems that seem to plague Apple’s attempts.

Must try harder Apple - 1/10…
