If you have submitted a contest entry to the iLounge Buyers’ Guide iPod Colors Contest, please read this notice and follow the directions carefully.
We received an incredible number of outstanding entries to this contest, but a number of entrants did not attach their e-mail addresses or names to their entries. iLounge’s editors have selected winners, however, we need to match names and e-mail addresses to the submitted photos.
As per the contest rules, please submit your high-resolution (1600x1200) images right away to giveaway@ilounge.com with your name and e-mail address attached. If your high-resolution image has not been received by 5:00PM PT tomorrow, October 31, 2006, you will be ineligible to win the grand or second-place prizes. Thank you!

I don’t get it. Does everyone have to re-send their pictures, email adresses, and names?

The winning one…that’s mine.

Is it really necessary? I’ve just noticed it :(

Yes, it’s really necessary. If you submitted to the contest by the October 27 deadline, you must now submit the high-res image with your name and e-mail address to the giveaway address above. You still have 6 hours to submit as of the posting of this message.

Hello Jeremy, could you confirm that you have received my 2 emails? Both were about 4MB.
Thanks

We can’t confirm individual e-mails, sorry, it would take hundreds of posts to do that. Please submit - we’ll get them.

I attached all my pictures to the same email, is that ok?

Hey Jeremy! Did you get all of my emails? I didn’t put my name on the pics, or include my email address. Oh, and I forgot to attach the pics. Is that OK? I’m sure I would have won. I took some more really cool pics. Do they have to be hi-rez? I didn’t include an iPod in the winning pic, but I had my iPod with me when I took it, really. What is the email to send it to again? I can’t find the email address. Is there a web site to send them to? What is your personal email address? Look for my pics. Please confirm. Haha.

Also…do you want the high res photos of the original photo before any color adjusting or do you want the finished high res photo?

Oops. I just followed the directions on that page and emailed with my photo’s name. Guess that wasn’t good enough, and I was too busy with Halloween.
Ohwell. Damnit.

So who won this thing anyways? I am guessing having the top rated picture doesnt matter. Makes you wonder why they had people voting for entries since voting didn’t matter. Hmmm can anyone say “Rigged”?

What did you think of mine (the blue one with the CDs on)? My personal favourite was the white one with the never-ending mirrors, but I certainly like the winners.
