Incase debuts white leather iPod case

Incase Designs today introduced a white version of its Leather Sleelve for full-size iPods. The $29.95 case sports a Nappa leather exterior and soft suede lining, and offers complete access to all of your iPod’s controls. The Incase Sleeve also features a clear screen protector and a belt or strap attachment. It fits 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40GB iPods (both third- and fourth-generation models).
The Incase Leather Sleeve is also still available in black, blue and pink for the same price.

What a lazy design. Why don’t they have a cutout for the wheel that covers the rest of the iPod?? It looks fugly like that.
Also, I had a 3G white leather case, the screen “protector” just sratches and marks up the screen. Stay away from these cases if you value your screen’s appearance.

Kloan: I’m guessing they left the center strip open so that it’s compatible with both 4g and 3g ipods.
It could do without the stitching though. Doesn’t really match the sleek design of the ipod.

It won’t work well with 3G iPods. Their 3G cases had grooves cut out on each side of the buttons because they spread out wider than the clickwheel. I suppose it’s still work kinda, but yuck is all I can say. Just doesn’t look good.

Doesn’t work with some dock connectors. The slot is just a hair too narrow. I have to remove my ipod from the case to use my monster car charger.
