Infrared remote control receiver for iPod

German company Ulshofer has developed a prototype wireless remote control receiver for iPods. The small receiver plugs into the iPods earphone port, and can interpret signals from any common remote control device such as a CD changer or universal remote.

I guess it’ll be under $50, sounds like a pretty sweet device. Unless of course the Super Dock rumours are true, in which case its kinda useless.
