Due to the three to four week shipping wait on new iPad Camera Connection Kits from Apple, the $29 accessories are selling for double their retail cost—and sometimes more—on eBay. A quick check of the auction site this morning revealed a current price of $70 for a Kit auction ending in less than three hours, with another auction sitting at $51 with more than five hours left to go. Engadget reports that one iPad Camera Connection Kit auction that ended Monday closed at an astounding $187.50, or more than six times its normal selling price. The iPad Camera Connection Kit allows users to connect SD cards or USB-equipped cameras to the iPad, but also offers unofficial support for other USB peripherals, including keyboards, headsets, and other USB audio devices.
