iPod 15GB for $284 with free shipping
Deals On The Web: Amazon.com has the factory new 15GB iPod for $284.05. The 15GB model holds up to 3,700 songs and includes earbud headphones, a FireWire cable, PC FireWire adapter and an AC charger. We’ve posted them here recently for less, but with Free shipping, it’s among the lowest prices we’ve seen. Note that Amazon changes their prices frequently.

yay! just bought my ipod from amazon. this is actually cheaper than the compusa deal posted earlier since you don’t have to pay tax. and i’d rather give my money to amazon than compusa after that whole fiasco anyway.

Bought mine today, finally. Although the shipping date is 5/11, with a delivery date of 5/17-19. Why such a long time to ship?
I don’t think I can wait, I have a 3 hour car trip next weekend and the only guarantee to get it on time is an extra $10 for 2 day.

i see apple still doesnt let retailers lower the price of ipods. they remain artificially high. a good deal on an ipod usually consists of a 15-20 dollar discount. which sometimes doesnt even pay for shipping and tax. then your lucky if you recieve it in two weeks.

Hey, I bought my third generation 15Gb IPod at UCLAStore for $230. (about $250 w/ tax)
hmm.. that’s $70 off from retail price.
