iPod 20GB for £259.99
A UK reader notes that Amazon UK is selling the iPod 20GB for £259.99, including delivery and VAT. “This is the cheapest price I have seen in the UK for an iPod.”

Semms like they are not the only seller to be discounting their product.
Dixons on-line is selling for 270, or 260 if you enter the code pricerunner5 when prompted to.
Is this indicative of an update? Are they shifting stock through? Dixons in particular, would never lower prices on a major-selling line like this for nothing. Mmmmmmmm

Richer Sounds have them for £250, if they havent got them in stock at the shop they give you a £10 voucher and free delivery.

i think a new update is due…it looks like richer sounds have FINALLY realised they should start selling them…a bit to late for me but still.
i think a new update is on the way as the new remote will require the software to be changed to support it. and note how the release for the remote was for the first Q of 2004…now wer’re almost in the second so apple obviously havn’t finished the update in time…i’d give it about a month and we’ll have an update and (maybe/hopefully) new models
