Just ordered it ...no problems whatsoever! Did get dinged w/ tax however for a grand total of $428.03.
Already received confirmation and acknowledgement emails from Dell.
Also, estimated ship date on or before July 22, 2003.

I ordered my 30GB iPod from Dell on May 15 and didn’t get it till June 27th. Be prepared to wait a good long while to get it.

Chad ...This is the path I took: go to dell.com which reroutes you to http://www.dell.com/us/en/gen/default.htm then click on the Software and Peripherals link at the bottom of the page (http://www.dell.com/us/en/gen/topics/segtopic_software_seg.htm). Then click on Home & Home Office (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/default.aspx?cs=19&c=us&l=en). Then I did a search for ipod in the search box on the left. Today nothing comes up since I assume the offer was only good/available yesterday (July 17th). I’ve poked around that search box in the past looking especially for this deal and sometimes ipods came up and sometimes they didn’t (and of course the models varied). Good luck.

I jumped on this deal when I saw it. I placed my order on July 17, however, it was backordered until July 22....
Anyway, it shipped on the 18th (well before that July 22 date), and I received it today (on the 22nd).
So luckly I’ve got no horror story.
