iPod ads attack Toronto subway
MacMinute.com reports that “Apple’s iPod marketing team has transformed the St. George subway station in downtown Toronto into an ‘Apple dreamland,’ local resident Jonathan Ta-Min told MacMinute. He noted that iPod ads adorn nearly every object of the station—posts, walls, stairs, and even newspaper recycle bins. Ta-Min has provided MacMinute with several photos of the scene. ‘It definitely brought a smile to my face,’ he said.”

Let us coddle those who are offended once again. Apparently words, as well as sticks and stones are detrimental to their sensitivities. There, there.

Hey, why doesn’t everyone just allow everyone to have their own opinion?
I think it’s obvious this ad campaign worked. Not only does everyone who goes through there see it, but now it’s getting media attention like this.
Smart move.
About the title of the post… don’t change your whole life for the easily offended, just change stupid titles that can easily be connected to a terrorist event taken place earlier in the day.

Is the title that appropriate considering what happened yesterday in Madrid, which they are reffering to as Europe’s 911?

It looks pretty good, maybe a little over the top. With kind of push for the iPod does it mean a Canadian iTunes Music Store is on the way???

Not trying to minimize the terrible events that occured in Madrid yesterday. 198 deaths is devestating. But whoever is referring to that as “Europe’s 9-11” has no comprehension of the devstation of the events in the US on 9/11.
Its a terrorist attack and people died, btu those aren’t the only criteria that needs to be met to be equated with the events in NYC.
And to all of those who are “offended” or find it disrespectful calm yourselves. All that pent up frustration and aggravation is no good for the heart.
Not to mention how ridiculous it is.

The painting (?) on the vertical facets of the stairway is interesting. Only those who travel up will see it.

I believe this article was posted a few hours before the terrorist attack took place in Spain. While I don’t find the title offensive, I can see how other people would interpret it that way. These are terrible times we live in!

Attacks like the one in Madrid just highlight how precious life is and how easy it can be taken away, enjoy your life and live it to its fullest and worrying about innocent comments like the title of this post…get a life tbh
