iPod Dissection Photos
Update: iPoding has posted serveral new iPod dissection photos, including a comparison of the old vs. new battery.
iPoding has dissected and posted photos of a new iPod 15GB. Notice that the battery is much smaller than in older iPods. Here are photos of an old iPod 20GB dissection for comparison purposes.

Does it say 500mA on the batt??

I think you are referring to the Toshiba 1.8” 15GB HDD photo? It says 500mA.

What I really want to see is a close-up of the dock to see if there is an RCA jack for a line-in for recording. Is it true?

This is a picture of the old 20 GB ipod compared to the old 5 GB ipod. This is not the new rev 3 ipod.
