iPod-like character featured in ‘Transformers’?
According to “Transformers” star Josh Duhamel, the film will feature an iPod-like character. “The Transformer that will steal all the scenes I would say is this little iPod thing, [it’s] crazy,” Duhamel said. “It’s pretty cool. It’s like this crazy little 12-inch iPod that turns into this little killing machine.” The report also noted that it is possible he was speaking of the Transformer villain Soundwave, which originally changed from a robot into a tape deck. “Transformers” is directed by Michael Bay and will hit theaters July 4.

Watch the Heroes season finale. You’ll see that Soundwave is not an iPod, but a silver boom box. I didn’t see an iPod like thing in the teaser.

Considering the average size of a transformer, 12 inches is little.

We’re talking about an iPod-like device here. Considering it’s supposed to be a disguise, I’m pretty sure everyone would find a 12 inch iPod conspicuous.

12” is closer to a nomad than an iPod. Especially if you include the speaker add-on.
