MacMinute reader Grey Mull wrote in to tell us about his brother’s iPod mini themed wedding cake. “Just returned from my brother’s wedding where the Groom’s cake was none other than an iPod mini,” Grey said. Apparently, Grey’s brother, Adam, is not your average iPod fan—he loves the tiny gadget so much that he wanted his wedding cake in the shape of a green iPod mini. Just take a look at the photo he sent us. MacMinute would like to congratulate Adam and Kinsley Mull, who were married on June 26!

No kidding!! I have worked in a prison for 12 years and inmates give 10 times the respect to other people as most of the 2 year olds here!! I know sometimes your freshman year in high school can be tough..what to wear and all..but save your childish insults for gym class!! Cool cake Adam.
p.s. Freshman.. feel free to insult me on my occupation and spelling mistakes.

At first I thought it was pretty sad, but knowing that his wife did it for his groom’s cake makes it, and even more, her, very cool. Congrats, man. And don’t listen to these whiny losers criticizing you. They’re the ones getting all worked up over an iPodlounge forum thread, and probably don’t even have girlfriends, let alone wives.

Whoever made that is a genius…or at least good with a frosting spatula.

It’s an iPod cake and therefor does belong on “ipodlounge”. iPods are as much social as they are technical, and deserve coverage too.
Congrats to the happy couple.

Very, very cool idea. Whoever doesn’t think it is ‘cool’ shouldn’t really be on this forum and is by all accounts an iPod hater!
This is such a great idea, I am going to have to copy it! Although mine will be done in Silver frosting!!

That cake was a pretty cool idea for a groom’s cake. Too bad for all the ‘That’s an ugly WEDDING cake’ comments.

looks more like a rolled fondant icing to me, takes a little more time then spatula icing and doesnt taste very good unless its real thin, but you kinda just lay it on the cake..
also, ipod psychophantism is creepy
