iPod Socks now available for order

picAfter announcing them at its special music event last month, Apple has now added the iPod Socks to its online store. “Dress your iPod up in any one of six vibrant color socks (green, purple, grey, blue, orange, and pink). This set of knit socks provides a stylish, fun, and practical way to protect your iPod. So add a dash of color to your iPod with iPod Socks, the year’s coziest and most vibrant iPod accessory. It doesn’t matter which iPod model you have because iPod Socks fit all of them. And it doesn’t matter what your mood is because each iPod Socks package includes six bright colors so you can pick the one that feels best. Forgive us if we’re stating the obvious, but here’s how it works: Just slide your iPod into the sock to keep it safe and warm. Slide it out to dock or change playlists. It’s as easy as… putting on a pair of socks.” The iPod Socks are priced at $29 and will begin shipping in early December.

I don’t see the harm in it.  Its just a case, if you like them, buy them.  If you don’t, Apple isn’t going to sue you for not buying them.  But when you see everyone else walking around with them, you KNOW your going to get them!

Hey, at least Apple thought of a way to bring a case product to market that isn’t like what any of the third party companies are doing right now. I think they’re kind of a cool idea. Paying $29 for a full set with no option to buy just a single sock seems kind of dumb but that’s business I guess.

yeah, to all of you who seem to think its a joke, they are available at the apple iPod store. So either its for real, or its a joke gone way too far.

Guys, share a pack with your buddies, it’s as simple as that. I have 2 other iPods in the family, and about 10 people I know would want to split a pack with me.

Hell, even trade colors with your buddies if you want.
